Polygel is a professional hybrid system designed to combine the strength of acrylic with the flexibility and lightness of gel, offering nail technicians a versatile way to create both overlays and extensions. Unlike traditional acrylic, Polygel does not cure until it is placed under a UV/LED lamp, giving you unlimited working time. It is lighter and easier to file than hard gel, yet stronger and more durable than standard builder gels. Polygel must be filed down rather than soaked off, which is why correct training is essential.

By completing this course, you’ll not only learn how to apply Polygel effectively, but you’ll also understand the science, structure and safety behind the system.

What To Expect On The Day

You’ll begin with theory, followed by live practical demonstrations. After this, you will practice the techniques on yourself and each other, so please arrive with no product on your nails to ensure you can take part fully in the practical work.

You will be required to meet assessment criteria on the day in order to pass the course. If you do not meet the criteria you will be asked to provide case studies.

All products are provided for use on the day.

Once You Have Purchased The Course

You will be emailed the course manual and asked to complete a short theory question paper. This must be returned to info@jlnailacademy.co.uk before the course commences.
