About Jennifer

Jennifer, the founder of JL Nail Academy, has been part of the nail industry for many years - though she’ll tell you that makes her sound far older than she is! Like so many technicians, she began as a hobbyist, doing nails for family and friends… and before long, that “little hobby” became a full-time career. When you’re passionate about what you do, can you really call it a job?

Teaching quickly became one of Jennifer’s greatest joys. She loves helping nail professionals grow, sharing industry experiences and spending time with people who truly understand the realities of our work - clients not sitting still, last-minute cancellations, the never-ending search for perfection… we’ve all been there!

Opening her own nail academy had always been a dream. A place where learning feels enjoyable, supportive and inspiring. A place where students leave feeling confident, empowered and ready to take their skills to the next level.
